Future Communications Company Global (FCCG) held its Annual Ordinary General Shareholders Assembly for the financial year ended December 31, 2010

 

Future Communications Company Global (FCCG) held its Annual Ordinary General Shareholders Assembly for the financial year ended December 31, 2010, with the presence of approximately 90% of the shareholders in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The Ordinary General Assembly approved the distribution of 25% cash dividends to its shareholders. In addition, a new Board of Directors was elected after the term of previous Board of Directors has expired. Mr. Muthanna Al-Hamad, the Chairman of Board of Directors, of Future Communications Company Global (FCCG), praised the big efforts and the distinguished accomplishment of the previous Board of Directors during their terms of service and Mr. Al-Hamad wished all the success to the new Board of Directors members. Mr. Salah Al-Awadhi, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Future Communications Company Global (FCCG), on his part said that “our company has made significant progress towards the diversification of its sources of income”. Mr. Salah added that the company no longer depends only on the Kuwaiti market to generate its operating profits, the company also generated approximately 30% of its profits from markets outside Kuwait. This was due to our presence in all GCC countries through our company’s successful and productive projects which resulted from our long and pioneer experience in the telecommunication and IT sectors, in addition to mutual confidence we have with our strategic allies whom we work with. Mr. Al-Awadhi also added that FCCG allied with the biggest and most successful companies in the region, through its subsidiaries, such as: Huawei (a leading telecom solutions provider), Nokia Siemens, Ericsson, Qtel (Qatari Telecom) and Batelco (Bahrain Telecom Company) and others which resulted in carrying out vital joint venture projects in the Gulf Region.
