‘Future Communications Company Global (FCCG) announced its hosting for delegates from the National Offset Company (NOC), which is a state-owned closed shareholding company, incorporated in 2006, with its primary function is to manage and administer the implementation of the Offset Program on behalf of the Government of Kuwait – Ministry of Finance.
Mr. Deyaa Ahmed, Training and Development for FCCG, said that FCCG, represented by the CEO, Mr. Salah Al-Awadhi, and managers from all different departments and subsidiary companies of FCCG, welcomed NOC delegates, represented by its General Manager, Mr. Mazen Mohammed Madooh and a number of managers from NOC. The main purpose of this visit was to identify the available investment opportunities for large companies in the communication technology sector. Mr. Ahmed also added that Ms. Muna Bsiso, NOC Consultant, provided a presentation for FCCG group managers which aimed to shed light on the role of the National Offset Company and to clarify the role of NOC in managing the offset program and to clarify the procedures according to the new offset guide, number 2007-9, which is characterized as a flexible, transparent, and up-to-date international offset program.
The new guide aimed to present investors with the steps required to implement the commitments resulting from the signing of governmental, military and civilian contracts. For his part, Mr. Salah Al-Awadi, thanked the delegates of the National Offset Company for choosing FCCG as a leading company in the communications technology sector, in Kuwait and the Gulf States, that falls within their confidence and interest as well as other investors. |
